Mr Sulay's new born baby!
|
|
|
My good ol' lecturer back in college (now doing his PhD in my uni in Adelaide), Mr Sulay and his wife, Fatimah, are proud parents of their new baby boy! The baby, (he doesn't have a name yet but for the moment is Sulay Jr ), was born last Wednesday, 21st June 2006, at the Woman's & Children's Hospital in North Adelaide. He is a healthy 2.7kg baby, with thick straight hair, with features mostly from his mom (I reckon). This Wednesday (27th June) will be the day that the baby will be given his name, and there will be a big ceremony in their home country, Sierra Leone. He is such an adorable baby.. =)Congratulations Sir! ~

Janda Baik Trip..

Yet another adventure for [ex + current] HELP geng, as this is our 2nd Janda Baik trip together!  The last time we had this group outing was waaayyy back in July 2002, so it is time for history to repeat itself! hehe.. But this time, the geng grew smaller (some were overseas, some couldn't make it..blah blah). The lucky 12 ppl were myself, Zuhri, Zairin, Nadia, Shazlan, Haikal, Cooper, Najla, Tanto, Geral, Mark & Rachel.We had BBQ + Potluck food (egg sandwiches, pasta, fried rice, junk food), played several board games + headed to the river to "mandi2". We sang, we danced + we did crazy things.. just like always! hehe..

It was Hema's 23rd birthday, so we 'celebrated' her birthday at 'Paddigton Pancakes' at the Curve, and much later Zuhri invited us to his new crib at Kota Damansara.

The last group outing..
|

|
Gloria Jeans Cafe, Rundle St, Adelaide, 1st July 2005- It was our last group outing for this semester. The next day, Mas, Adil & I flew back home to Singapore/ Malaysia, Amy is going home for good on the 14th.. So yeah, this gathering was a MUST. For this outing, 2 people from afar joined us.. Haz's sis Zafi,who flew in from KL, and Syar's best friend, Mel,who flew in from NZ. Next semester, our future outings will be joined by Amy's sis, Lydia, and perhaps mr busyman Irwan if he's available.. hehe...
